For the Goldfish Crackers:
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed and chilled
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1–2 tbsp cold water (as needed)

Preheat & Prepare:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make the Dough:
- In a food processor, pulse together cheese, flour, butter, salt, and garlic powder until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add 1 tbsp cold water and pulse until the dough starts to come together. If too dry, add another ½ tbsp water at a time.

Roll & Cut Shapes:
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to ⅛-inch thickness.
- Use a goldfish-shaped cookie cutter or small cutter to create shapes.
- Place crackers on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the Crackers:
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until crackers are golden and crisp.
- Let cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes
- For extra crunch, bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- For different flavors, swap cheddar for Parmesan or white cheddar.
