For the Chicken and Bacon Ranch Melt:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and sliced
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked until crispy
- 4 slices sourdough or ciabatta bread (or sub sandwich roll)
- 4 slices cheddar or provolone cheese
- ΒΌ cup ranch dressing
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions

Cook the Chicken & Bacon:
- Season chicken with black pepper and garlic powder.
- Cook in a skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
- Remove and slice into thin strips.
- Cook bacon in the same skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Spread ranch dressing on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer chicken, bacon, and cheese on two slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices.

Grill the Sandwiches:
- Butter the outside of each sandwich.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, pressing down gently until golden brown and cheese is melted.

- Slice in half and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve hot with extra ranch dressing for dipping!
