  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 34 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained and chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  • Optional: Sear the chicken in olive oil in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side. Transfer to the slow cooker.

  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir and bring to a light simmer.

  • Pour the sauce over the chicken in the crock pot.

  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

  • Optional: Mix cornstarch and water and stir into the sauce. Cook on HIGH for another 15–20 minutes to thicken.

 

  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
